Is Bengal leopard cat obedient? Characteristics of Bengal leopard cat

There is no too much ink in the rules to describe the patterns, only 15 points. Only the distribution and comparison of the patterns are emphasized. On the one hand, because everyone has different aesthetic tastes, some like leopard dots, some like rose patterns, and some like clouded leopard patterns. There is no difference between the advantages and disadvantages of these patterns. On the other hand, Bengal leopard cat has a completely different genotype marble gene than leopard spot. In this way, judging the quality of a pattern is full of uncertainty and personal color.

In the detailed explanation of patterns, we need to quote a lot of other people’s pictures and make my own subjective comments. This is a taboo behavior among colleagues in the cat house, so I try to collect some foreign pictures for detailed explanation, so as to avoid some unnecessary disputes. Therefore, the preparation work will be very long, and I may not see this content at any time. Maybe it’s because the material collection is not good.

The broad and improved wedge-shaped head has a round outline. The head is longer in length and narrower in width. The trunk is long and strong, especially in males; the tail is of medium length with a circular tip. The hind legs are longer than the front legs, and the back of the body is raised when walking, and the tail is lowered; the fur length is short to medium, and the hair is very dense, with gorgeous horizontal stripes.

First of all, these two kinds of cats belong to short hair cats, so they are very lively and active. Comparatively, Siam is more docile. Leopard cats are divided into F1 and F2, and the wildness is weaker. In contrast, the beautiful leopard pattern is not so obvious (more like civet cat), and leopard cat is more wild.

What’s more, what’s your budget? If you want 2-3000 cats to play with. Then I recommend buying traditional Siamese cats.

If the budget is 2 ~ 3W, you can consider the less pure leopard cat, or the modern Siamese cat, or the Oriental short haired cat.

Secondly, Siam is more clingy and leopard cat is more independent. If you don’t have much time and can’t accompany you often, you are not recommended to keep a cat. No matter what kind of cat, it is a small life, please respect them.

Finally, if you have a cat, please sterilize it. Don’t have any idea about having a litter and then sterilizing it or not. It’s actually a test for both cats and you, whether they have the energy to take care of kittens, whether they can deal with the problems brought about by sterilization, such as urinary tract diseases in old age, and so on,

I’m just a cat owner. The above remarks are purely personal suggestions

Bengal leopard cat is gentle and has wild beauty of leopard cat. It is always energetic, with sportsman’s self-confidence and alertness, strong curiosity about things, but not aggressive. He is a straightforward and peaceful man. Its cute and smart appearance also makes many people fall in love with it. The Bengal leopard cat can even be brought to play with water, with dogs and with children. The Bengal leopard cat is such a “wild child”.

The Bengal leopard cat is not a fat cat. Many owners find their Bengal leopard cats too thin when feeding. It is necessary to supplement the consumed energy in time and replace it with high fat cat food. A beautiful Bengal leopard cat needs a body full of muscle, not a body full of fat.

Bengal leopard cats prefer sports, so some cat climbing frames should be added in the breeding area as their sports ground. Reasonable exercise plays an important role in keeping the whole body muscle feeling and perfect springing force of Bengal leopard cat.

First of all, the leopard cat was successfully bred as a new breed, and Jean Sudgen mill was the Bengal cat. In 1963, she took a male black short haired domestic cat and a female ALC. The goal is to create a new breed of cat with the beautiful pattern of ALC, but with the gentle personality of domestic cat. After preliminary experiments and cross breeding, it was proved that ALC and domestic cats could produce offspring. However, some accidents happened in the mill family and these experiments were temporarily interrupted.

The “F” in the basic cat’s code name comes from the Latin Filius, which means “child” or “generation”. F1 is the first generation; it is the cross breed offspring of a female ALC and a male “breed cat” or other domestic cats. F2 is the second generation; it is the offspring of a female F1 (basic breed cat) and another “line breed cat” or other domestic cats. F3 is the third generation; it is the offspring of a female F2 (basic breed cat) and another “line breed cat” or other domestic cats.

The so-called other domestic cats here usually replace the “line breed cat” with the Egyptian cat or the American short hair cat, and produce the next generation of cats with ALC or “basic breed cat”. Therefore, these breeds of cats will have different stripes such as spots (produced by spotted, ALC and Egyptian cats) or marbling (produced by marble, ALC and Meiji).

In the first three generations, generally speaking, male cats were infertile while females were fertile. In other words, male cats in “basic breed cats” were usually “neutral” and should be raised as family pets by experienced breeders (because they still retain the primitive wild nature and are not suitable for general family rearing).

The offspring of any ALC or basic cat will more or less inherit some of their parents’ physical characteristics and temperament (e.g., love to play with water). However, in the offspring far away from the base cat or ALC, the ALC characteristics of many basic cats will decrease or disappear (for example, they will become afraid of water, etc.).

From the genetic point of view, it is possible to create a leopard cat that retains certain morphological or physical characteristics by means of interspecific and allogenic reproduction. (the change from ALC to basic cat to strain cat can be seen from the figure below.)

As a family pet, leopard cats have similar physical characteristics to ALC living in the forest. Their most important feature is their beautiful fur. Specifically, these cats create a distinctive striped, shimmering and silky coat. Different from ALC, leopard cat has a gentle personality, self-confidence and a high degree of curiosity about things.
